Inbox - The Week's Whisky News (October 27, 2017)

Welcome to Inbox.  For those new to WFE, Inbox is our weekly round up of whisky news and PR material that has found its way in to our email inbox. It was created as we cannot write full articles or do justice to every piece received. It features items from around the world of whisky and is published by us each Friday.

Within Inbox we aim to write a few lines detailing each press release/piece of news/PR event that we have received and provide links, where possible, for you to find out further information.  This is the news that has grabbed our attention this week.

The whisky used for the Inaugural Release is some of the first that was produced and has been made using barley grown within the Cotswolds boundary and then floor malted. It has been matured in a combination of first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and re-charred ex-red wine casks, then bottled at 46% ABV. There are just 4,000 bottles of Inaugural Release and they will retail for £44.95 each. For more details, please visit www.cotswoldsdistillery.com.

“Our single malt is the culmination of years of hard work. We’ve managed to produce something truly remarkable, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved.”
